Waiting impatiently...

Well my due date has come and gone... and still no baby! I am feeling anxious and ready for Noah to get here. I am scheduled to be induced on Monday 12/13 if I haven't had him by then, but I am having second thoughts about it. I'm not sure why but I woke up this morning feeling extremely nervous about being induced. Jason has voiced opinions that it might be better to wait until the following Monday for induction, but that will be 12/20! I just hate for him to have a birthday that is so close to Christmas. Steph thinks today is the day, so I guess we will see.... :)   I am going to try to spend some time today making his birth announcement.

Sesame seed

SO, I just got a weekly pregnancy email and it says the bean is the size of a sesame seed! That is so tiny!
"Your baby is about the size of a sesame seed, and he looks more like a tiny tadpole than a human."
OH, He, hmm?

It also says, "The cell created by the merging of egg and sperm will divide into over 100 trillion other cells to form your baby." 100 trillion other cells! and just think- every cell is different. I am making skin cells and organ cells and blood cells and every other kind! That is just insane. I feel like a science project is going on inside my belly..

In other news, Kat and I bought Jo and Robbie matching shirts for Easter. I will have to post pics. It is going to be the cutest!

We're expecting!

Hey all! Welcome to AJ and the Bean (Ally+Jason+the new bean!) We just found out on Sunday that we are expecting!  I am just about 4 weeks along now. Having all kinds of feelings.. excitement, nervousness, happiness, you name it!
Well here is how it happened:
I was starting to spot on Sunday, March 28th, so I thought I was starting my period. I talked to Jason about it and he said that I could still be pregnant and just spotting. I decided to look it up and it said it could be implantation bleeding. I read about it and it said that if it was implantation bleeding, it happens 2 to 3 weeks after conception (which is what I thought I was.) It said that you could test at home 10 days after ovulation which was Saturday, so I decided to go ahead and test. I did and Jason came in while I was washing my hands. He said, "babe, is there supposed to be a plus sign?" I couldn't remember so I got out the directions. He was looking at them over my shoulder holding the test and he said ummmmmmmmmmmmmm..... So I looked at the test and WOW. There was the test line and then a light blue line in the POSITIVE section. I was so shocked!! Jase and I hugged for a minute and then I went to get Steph. She stood there staring at the box for about 10 minutes. I was hyperventilating! After I finally calmed down I went and got in bed with Jason. We talked for a while and he was so happy! As I was going to sleep, he was hugging me and I asked if he loved me. He said "I love my baby and I love my baby's baby!" Awwwww. So cute!
I'm starting this blog so that I can blog about the pregnancy and all the random craft craziness that we get up to. Later I'll post about the Easter egg wreath I came up with.
